Hidden Hi-Def Wallpapers and Themes in Windows 7

Many of the techies out there may know of this, but I am sure most non-techies do not.  Hidden in Windows 7 is some FREE high definition wallpapers and themes that relate to various countries such as Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States, and South Africa.

To get to this treasure, click on “Start”, click on “Run” and type (or copy/paste) the following in the “Run” box, then click “OK”.

An Explorer window will open that displays various folders for each of the countries previously mentioned.

Hidden Wallpaper

Double click to open any of the folders and you will see a folder with the actual country name. Open that folder and you will find the hi-def wallpapers for that county. You can double click to view the wallpaper or you can right mouse click and select “set as desktop background”. You will also see a “Theme” folder that contains the theme for each country.  If you double click on a theme file you will be taken to  the Windows 7 Personalization where you can manage the theme.
