Is that SSD one you’ve recently bought? My main SSD died on me last week and I’m still waiting for the warranty exchange. I have only had it for a few months, so I’m a little put off by this experience. SSDs should be more reliable because they don’t have any moving parts. Unfortunately a firmware bug destroyed that notion. LikeLike Reply Jason, No, I have not purchased that SSD… I have been putting tech items out there, like this, to make people aware that the technology is there and that the technology can be reasonably purchased. Wow, “a firmware bug” did the drive in? The SSD technology is still in its’ infancy stage and I guess, like beta software, these things will happen. It just amazes me how fast we are moving with all of this. As always, I thank you for your expert comments that contribute to the blog.
