Tech Product of the Week: Raspberry Pi Model B Revision 2.0 (512MB) Single-Board Computer

At one point in time a computer encumbered a whole room; today you can find a computer, such as Raspberry Pi, that is the size of a credit card. The Raspberry Pi is a single-board computer developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation that is capable of performing functions, similar to that of a desktop PC (such as spreadsheets, word processing, games and high definition Video). Raspberry Pi has no hardrive; instead, it relies on an SD card (not included) for booting and long-term storage. The default OS is Debian; however, you can run other ARM Linux distributions.

    1. Bill,

I have been following these mini computers for sometime and have found it quite fascinating. They are very popular to the point that they cannot keep them in stock. The Amazon pricing is on the high side… Just amazing!
