A Camcorder With A Built-In Projector

With the advent of the smartphone, with built in cameras and video recorders, the makers of camcorders needed to become more innovative. An example of this higher level of innovation can be found in the Sony HDR-PJ230/B High Definition Handycam Camcorder. This camcorder has it all; a built-in 8.9 megapixel still image camera, 27X optical zoom, 1920 x 1080 high definition resolution, 8GB embedded Flash memory and much more.  But, get this —  the Sony HDR-PJ230/B has a built-in video projection system that is powerful enough to project an image up to a 100-inch diagonal screen. Now this is what I call carrying your whole multimedia system in your pocket…  Amazing!

  1. Rick,

This turns my crank – not only based on the capabilities, but the price! $400 seems like a steal given what this little thing can do.

Thanks for this. Got a birthday coming up very soon (if you know what I mean 🙂 )

    1. Bill,

I agree, the price is right… I am very interested in the ability to project the video on a wall, screen, etc… Never ceases to amaze me how innovative technology is becoming.
