A Virtual HDD LED That Shows Hard Disk Activity In Real Time

My ASUS Desktop computer is an awesome computer; however, there is one thing that is lacking that I actually miss and depended upon. That is the hard disk LED light that you typically find that blinks when there is hard disk activity. This is especially important to me when troubleshooting a problem or performing a Windows update of sorts that appears to go into limbo.

A solution that I came up with is the portable software utility called FREE HDD LED that shows hard disk drive activity in real time in the systray area and on keyboard (blinking the scroll lock key LED).


FREE HDD LED has the ability to monitor all physical hard disk drives connected to the pc (ide/sata/usb) with a nice selection of menu options (see below).
